El Consulado resides in the old consulate of Panama, and still retains much of the atmosphere from an earlier time. The house consists of a Restaurant, a Hotel, an Artisan Shop and a Gallery. We are part of the Topas Group, a Danish run Adventure Travel Agency, whose office you will find in the basement of the house, should you be looking for high quality Adventure. There are many good reasons to visit us, even if its just to sit and read a newspaper in our garden.

We have done a very special effort in making some of the finest new andean cuisine in Bolivia. With our head María Huayhua, we want you to expect something extraordinary. There goes alot of thought and passion into every single plate here, which we trust you will experience.
Craftsmanship
In the house you will find an artisan shop with a wide range of very high quality Aymara tailoring. We can also make any kind of clothing, should you have any special request.
Fine Art
During exhibitions in our house you will be able to experience the best and upcoming artists of Bolivia. Our Art Gallery is run by the Danish/Mexican artist Rama King Nash, and with him at the wheels you can expect nothing less than the best Bolivia has to offer.
Garden
El Consulado has one of the few remaining green gardens from the last century. With tress and plants, where you can enjoy our Cuisine or just hang out in a very tranquil setting.

Hotel Boutique
In a hotel with 7 large rooms dating back 100 years, restored to its former glory, this place will make you feel speciel. Most of the furniture dates back from when this was the Consulate of Panama. We trust you will enjoy your stay.
