Galería El Consulado is the only one of its kind in Bolivia, where its free for artists to initiate exhibitions. Here you will find some of the best artists not only in Bolivia but in Latin America. We are striving to bring you the best and most promising art, with both already established artists and great new upcoming painters. The Gallery is run by the Danish/Mexican Artist Rama King Nash.

We also feature book, magazine and poem presentations, and welcome cultural discussions of any kind. Check our event calender below, and make sure to make a mark in yours, and join us in this special little corner of Bolivian culture.

Of the bolivian painter Diego Morales
Diego Morales has, more than a commitment to its historical moment, the ability to look reflexively and understand his environment to be able to create a critical and acid attack  through figures and drawings full of character and attitude in the construction of  a concept that he combines with abstract strokes full of symbolism and challenging force. In this new show the essence of his painting is not broken, his works refer to social situations and abstract dark. A pattern remains in the work of Diego, his presence, alive as part of the public, he appears almost invisible in his own works, as an observer from the inside and the outside of his own works.  His paintings combine abstract elements loaded with drawings gifted hardness of expressiveness and realism. With this exhibition Diego is  not that severe as he can get, he is having more fun now, but of course the characters portrayed have harshness and darkness within.
